Our Mission
The Monroe Gospel Women's Mission is dedicated to providing needed assistance of housing, educational direction, counseling, and spiritual help to homeless women.
History
Dorothy Stima founded the Monroe Gospel Women's Mission in 2005 to provide temporary shelter for homeless women in Snohomish County. With a background in teaching and social services, Dorothy dedicated her career to supporting those in need. Her deep compassion for unhoused women inspired her to create a safe haven, where women are empowered to move from homelssness to self-sufficiency. Through her efforts, she taught us the importance of unconditional love and caring for one another.
Our Vision
With open arms and compassion, we welcome adult women from all walks of life, creating a nurturing community. Our devoted staff is focused on building trust and relationships, making sure that redemption, hope, and healing are available to everyone who comes through our doors. Together, we can truly make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.

Our Values
Compassion, life-transformation, and kindness are at the core of our values. We are dedicated to treating every woman with dignity and offering holistic support that addresses their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
At Monroe Gospel Women's Mission, we believe in the potential of every woman. We believe all women can move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
